Artist statement (summary of)

The forthcoming artist statement for Lucid outlines my activation of creative practice as emancipatory and connective. It unfurls the integration of my creative process with trauma recovery and regenerative emotional, cognitive and sacred processes. This series also enlivens the intersections of creativity, meditative self and world inquiry and the contours of heart cognition. Lucid maps sensory and embodied connections between creativity, consciousness, community, healing and wellbeing.

Lucid is a series of eleven artworks, multiple in dimension (small to large-scale). Along with other projects, I am currently working on completing this series, with an exhibition planned for June 14 to 28, 2024.
